Closing a chapter is never easy, especially when it involves a home filled with decades of cherished memories, laughter, and stories.

After officially closing the sale on this spectacular property in Jefferson, Oregon, I wanted to prepare something truly special for my amazing sellers, Patti and Frank. To honor the years of life shared under that roof, I commissioned a custom watercolor painting of the house, a small keepsake to serve as a lasting reminder of the beautiful legacy they built as they step into their next adventure.

Being trusted with a home's story is always a privilege, but this particular sale held a meaning that goes far deeper than real estate.

Where the Journey Began: Gratitude for a Mentor

Years ago, my career path took a defining turn at Oregon State University. Kelly Sullivan took a chance on me, welcoming me as his very first volunteer assistant coach. That single opportunity changed the trajectory of my life. 🧡

Fast forward to today: Kelly has remained a lifelong mentor, pillar, and friend. When the opportunity came to support his family and list his sister's stunning home on Jefferson, it felt like a true "full circle" moment. Being trusted by the family of the man who helped start my own journey made this my favorite listing of all time.

From a young assistant coach represented in an old newspaper clipping to a seasoned Realtor guiding families through major life transitions, it all comes back to the stories we share and the lives we touch along the way.
